“Ndizalwe Nge ngubo emhlophe”| I was born wrapped in a white blanket series produced in Antibes, France during the Undiscovered Art Residency

For Wolf, a vehicle for cultural remembrance and preservation is colour. She is inspired by other Africans who have embraced it into the function and fabric of their lives. In her works, colour expands and flows freely. The technique of colour mixing, inspired by traditional African architecture, is a complex process of mixing natural materials such as soil and sand. The colours often reference earthen artworks, such as minimalist cave art that records traces of the creative contemporary mind.
