U EA KAE: Where are you going?
Solitude of innerstanding
I frequently ask myself this question ‘ke ea kaeʼ? Where am I going for one who does not know who they are wonʼt know where they are heading.
Like most of my artworks I focus on the spiritual self returning of the the self the ‘I AMʼ the God frequency in us all. For we as a people find ourselves living in a world where our sense of self worth is demeaned through societal conditionings, colonial texts, religious houses which we are adapted as children and later on as adults became our beliefs about ‘Who we areʼ. There is an ancient Egyptian proverb and I quote “know the world in yourself. Never look for yourself in the world, for this world will project your illusion”. Through channeling this frequency (‘I AMʼ) we ‘assistʼ (‘for what we resist persistʼ- Carl Yung ) mental emancipation to be ignited for one has to unlearn material energy to reawaken the transcendental conscious mind the GOD State which is infinite and gracefully Devine.
This journey that its distance cannot not be measured nor seen but is trusted knowing that through walking in this path a process of returning to our souls purpose will be manifested by remembering who we were before the world told us who to be.
